This is a great little neo-noir movie with a twist that it’s set in high school. I’m not sure if that twist really worked though. To me it just kind of came off as unrealistic. High school wasn’t that long ago for me and nobody talked liked this or acted this seriously all the time. I know it’s a movie and it’s not necessarily supposed to be that realistic but it just kind of ruined it for me. I think it just simply would have worked better if it wasn’t set among high school students. None of them acted their age. Nevertheless, it was still a very good watch. It was great to watch the mystery unfold. Also the acting was all great so you could really feel for the characters. I hope this film eventually becomes more popular and doesn’t continue to be overlooked.
